President Message
Hello Everyone,
It is with great joy that I introduce to you our new and very own website for our MCM Soccer Club. After many discussions at our executive level and some failed attempts we finally succeeded.
It is with deep appreciation to our own Matt and Gail Braithwaite that we have a professional type Website. Matt Braithwaite plays on our MCM team. It is exactly this kind of internal strength that makes the MCM soccer club a success. Our club are a very unique group of individuals, our strength is in unity. With the long history of the club [since 1975] I am proud to say that our pattern is one of continuous growth, improvement and most of all dedication. I have always stressed family involvement from the start, however I could not have imagined 43 years ago that we would have such a cohesive group of people. We certainly had some ups and downs but we always carried on to improve.
I can truly say that I could not be more proud of all the players on all the MCM soccer teams on and off the soccer field. Truly a one of a kind group.
Our social affairs are always a big part of our soccer season. It is especially gratifying to see up to 3 generations at our picnics. The social and tour committees are getting better, larger and stronger with the additions of several players wife's and girlfriends. They do an outstanding job. I personally like to thank them. Congratulations to one and all.
I would also like to thank my very dear wife Terezia for all her involvement and strong support.
Our soccer results are also something to be proud of, whether it is here at home in our league, or on our different tours. The input and determination as well as complete dedication and great sportsmanship is for me a dream come true. Well done players. Best of luck and much success in the coming years to one and all.
To any soccer friends all over the world, you now know about the MCM SOCCER CLUB, through our new website. Please visit us. Who knows we may have the pleasure one day to play in your part of the world.
I remain yours in soccer.
Your President,
Manfred C. Muntwyler
